Floodfest 2011 – Forest of Tranquility
Floodfest 2011 – Saturday 26th March, 2011
Gates Open 11:30 am. Entertainment Starts 12 noon.
Local Performers from all corners of the Coast from diverse musical genres are converging in the park’s flood zone – a natural amphitheater – donating their talent to create a musical sound scape in the rainforest to raise funds for the flood and cyclone appeal. Entertainment, Games, Challenges and Rainforest Walks. Bring your gold coins to enter.
There will be stalls, food, tea house and BBQ. Our local bush tucker man, Jake Cassar will take you on a rainforest walk. Park entry and competition proceeds will be donated to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Appeal.
ENTRY FEE:Family (2 adults, 2 children) $30.00. Adult $15.00, Concession $10.00, Child (7-16) $6.00.
No Credit card facilities are available on site. Please use our Prepaid Ticket option below to pay by credit card.
PREPAID TICKETS:Ticket price includes a booking fee and credit card charges. (30 cent fee per ticket and a 2.1% + 50c fee per credit card transaction) You will be issued with a ticket that you will need to print out and bring along on the day of the event.

WET WEATHER:
In the event of wet weather the event will be rescheduled. Please check this website on the day if weather conditions warrant it.
CANCELLATION:
If Flood Fest in the Forest is cancelled by bad weather all monies refunded by Trybooking will be refunded. However you can still elect to donate the concert fee to the Queensland Premiers Flood Appeal and we will pass it on to them.
PLEASE NOTE: The 30 cent Trybooking processing fee cannot be refunded unless Trybookings agrees it falls within their policy guidelines.
PARKING: Limited parking on site $2.00. Please car pool with friends
